Tilda in the Pink

Hello again

Before making a long overdue start on my Christmas cards I decided to have a go at the CLP Sketch Challenge No.41 and using the sketch provided I put together this 6 x 6 card.  The base card is smaller than I have been using recently but I was fairly happy with the result.  I have used one of my favourite Magnolia Stamps for the main image and the papers are by Fizzy Moon.  The flower is a Magnolia die and the swirl is a Marianne Creatables die.  Sometimes it is nice to just make a card that is not for a particular person when you have had to make a lot of birthday cards for friends and family.  I have had several birthdays over the past two months and so my time has been taken up with making birthday cards with special people in mind.  I have to make another card this evening for a very special friend who will be 30 years of age on Tuesday.  So back to the grindstone!!!

See you soon.

A card for 105 years

Hello again

I was recently asked to make a card for a gentleman who would be 105 years of age at the beginning of November and after a great deal of thought and several prototypes this finally was the finished article!     I do not know the gentleman personally and I could not help but wonder what must it be like to have lived for so long, and have so many memories.  I hope he likes the card and that he has a lovely day.

Off now to make a few more cards.

Not long to Halloween

Hi everyone

Not been around much recently due to work commitments but hopefully back on track now.  This card has a Halloween flavour to it but I think I could use it for anyone I wish a 'Magical Birthday'.  I am entering this in the Papertake Weekly Challenge.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat and I have used two stamps from Lili of the Valley plus the Martha Stewart branches punch.  I have coloured the image with copics and embellished finally with Card Candy.

Hope you like it.

Happy Birthday Ian

I have made this card for my son Ian's birthday today - Happy Birthday Ian.  I just love the Humphrey's Corner images, they are so easy to colour with Copics or ProMarkers.  The background  paper I used is from my stash and I have no idea when or where I bought it but I felt it was ideal for a masculine card.  I couldn't resist this stamp and couldn't wait to use it and now I can't wait for the new Christmas images being released tomorrow.

Card Made by Olivia

This card was made by my other 'Crafting Fairy' Olivia for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge when she was also asked to join the Children's Design Team. Olivia is 9 years of age and loves all papercrafts, she designed this card herself and the best part for her was being 'allowed' to use my photoglue!!! She loves Tilda so this challenge was right up her street.!!!

Ella's Card

Hi there, this is a card that my Granddaughter Ella made for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge when she was asked to be part of the Children's Design Team. Ella is only 7 years old but made this card herself and she must have been listening when we were using the ProMarkers recently at a 'craft with Gran' session, when I was trying to explain about shading. She picked the papers herself from my stash which were from one of the many magazines I have at home and apart from one or two finger smudges I think she did a brill job but then I am biased!!!!.
